After some time studying all our options and trialling a few players in our ESEA matches, we’re happy to announce our lineup for the upcoming Insomnia 60 is now finally complete. The new lineup will have two new faces in Mark “maarc” Hammond and Hayden “hayden” Watson. To close out the last spot, we have Mitchell “mitch” Harrop rejoining us after resolving some of the scheduling conflicts that had made him originally unable to compete for us at the next i60.

As for our new players, Mark is hardly a newcomer to the squad having played as a stand-in for some of our practice matches leading up to our last LAN and has attended several LAN events in both CSS and CSGO, including quite a few iSeries. Hayden has played with the old IWT roster before, and is now joining us from Rasta after a 9/12 place finish at the most recent epicLAN in February. The new lineup goes as follows:

  • Jay “f00b” Davenport
  • James “Jamesta” Granata
  • Mitchell “mitch” Harrop
  • Mark “maarc” Hammond
  • Hayden “hayden” Watson

Statement by Mark “maarc Hammond:

“I’m excited to be joining Dragon and to be playing again with a couple of my old team mates, jamesta and f00b. I am hoping that we can impress at i60 in April and come away with a top placement and potentially securing further support from Dragon Esports, with which we can then go forward and improve as a team for future competitions and start fighting for the top spot in the UK before beginning to challenge further afield.”

Statement by James”Jamesta Granata:

“Finally! I can say we have completed the line-up! After speaking with maarc it turned out he could put in the required amount of time needed to help towards our i60 goals! Maarc has a wealth of experience and knowledge which are key attributes we needed to strengthen the line-up. After playing with various 5ths for a couple of weeks, we’re also happy to have found Hayden as he’s not only a perfect match within our ranks, but also contributes with a more diverse skill set that we were previously lacking from our epicLAN line-up!”
